Interactifs on the International scene
 We have made the same observation in more than 20 countries
Interactifs was founded in France in 1989. Since then, events have lead us to train people far from our own national borders,
our cultural references, and our spoken languages. We are proud to be able to list out some of the countries in which we have delivered
our training. These include: France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, England, America, Slovenia, Brazil, Turkey, Algeria, China, etc.
We have come to one conclusion : regardless of the country and the culture of that country, the answer to the question
“How do you like to be spoken to”, is always the same.
People like for others to speak to them in a way that is “clear, direct,
simple, precise, concise as long as the manner is also courteous, respectful, polite, warm and if it is with a bit of humor, so much the better”.
In addition we have observed that the gap between how people like for others to talk to them and how they actually speak to others around them,
is common to all of these people. Too many meetings and conversations are characterised by the unspoken, the implicit, by hints, suggestions,
allusions – or by plain manipulation.
Although we have not yet asked this questions in all areas of the planet, we feel authorised to think
that the answer would be the same there also.
We have therefore identified a cross-cultural aspect of how humans relate to one another.
For all the people who participate in our training session, and for whom the time they spend dealing with other people is critical to their
success, we therefore focus on what makes them same as others (rather than what makes them different).
We recognize however that each culture has its own way of being:
• Direct without being brutal
• Precise without being complicated
• Audacious without being arrogant…
Our trainers are always sufficiently impregnated with culture of the people in front of them, in order to navigate this fine line, thanks to their education and life experiences.
 Our present and future international capabilities
Through the years, we have built up a pool of trainers that now allow us to deliver training in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries or companies.
Our clients with an international presence bring us outside of the borders of France.
We deliver either:
• directly using our pool of trainers
• indirectly through Interactifs’ foreign licenses
• indirectly by training trainers for our clients

Learning to deal with other people more simply to produce better results
