Editorial : The three ‘e’s of effective relationships
Economical
For many businesses, the most important cost centre is the one represented by
the salary and related charges of employees – directors, managers, support staff, sales people –
who spend more than 50% (sometimes even more than 80%) of their time dealing with other people, either at
their own initiative or on the receiving end.
Ecological
Whatever the company’s activity, it is ultimately through these people that a firm’s capabilities, expertise,
strategy and image are communicated and executed. How they act, talk and listen has a direct impact on the performance
of the firm. It is these people who shape the company’s image, who embody it, sell it and defend it to all of the
stakeholders who make up the company’s business ecosystem – clients, partners, suppliers, employees, the media.
Considerable talent is needed to deal with these stakeholders with efficiency, impact, discernment and respect.
Educational
The learning and practice of the Interactifs Discipline® nurtures this talent and allows it to be deployed more
professionally. Developing this capability is often the most readily attainable source of increased profitability
for firms, at the lowest cost. In addition, business relationships will be created which are simpler, more respectful
and more comfortable for both parties.
In sum, what we do is to help people be more productive whilst still behaving in a thoroughly civilised fashion.
